On arrival at Johannesburg at ?? hrs, clear the Immigration & Customs and check-in for the connecting flight to Cape Town. On arrival at ??? hrs, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Afterwards, relax in the room to get over the jet lag. Breakfast. Later, pick-up from hotel for a half-day tour of the Table Mountain with a cable car (weather permitting) which offers spectacular bird’s eye view of the city. The upper cable car station is situated at 1067 metres and the revolving cable car allows a 360 degree aerial view of the city. After lunch break, go for a brief orientation tour covering the major attractions like Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, House of Parliament, Company Gardens, Malay Quarter etc. End the city tour with a visit to the Victoria & Albert Waterfront for some shopping. Breakfast. Later, pick-up from hotel for the tour of Cape Point. En route, visit Hout Bay harbour which still retains a charm of days gone by. Enjoy a half-hour cruise to Seal Island or walk around the Mariners Wharf area. Continue alongside the Indian Ocean and stop to see the Jackass penguin colony at Boulders beach. Then travel onwards until reaching Cape Point & Cape of Good Hope, the meeting place of two mighty oceans. Our last stop of the day is at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, home of over 3500 species of fauna & flora. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay. Breakfast. Later, check out and depart by road to Knysna via the picturesque Garden Route. Reach Knysna in approx 7 hours with stops en route, including at a well-known winery area . On arrival at Knysna, check in to the hotel. In the evening, go for a cruise in the picturesque Knysna lagoon. Evening free to walk around this quaint & small town. Overnight stay. Garden Route includes one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline that winds its way for some 200 km via George, Wilderness,Sedgefield and Knysna on to Plettenberg Bay and is a fairyland of giant trees, ferns and bird life. Later, depart on a full day tour of Oudtshoorn and visit the Safari Ostrich Farm, the ultimate “ostrich experience” with thousands of ostriches to view from incubation stage to full grown adults that you can ride. It also boasts a curio shop including an excellent range of ostrich products After lunch at the above farm, visit the Cango Caves and continue to Cango Wildlife Ranch to view some animal species that inhabited the Karoo Region in the early days. Early breakfast. Transfer to the George airport (140 kms/2.5 hours) for a morning flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at Johannesburg, transfer to Sun City by a private van and reach in approx 2.5 hours. On arrival at Sun City, check in to the hotel. Breakfast. Morning free to relax or walk around Sun City. Around noon, transfer to Pilansburg National Park in a safari vehicle. Reach in approx 45 minutes and check-in at the lodge. Breakfast. Take the hotel’s complimentary shuttle to the Johannesburg Airport to check-in by 0800 hrs for the flight to Livingstone at 1040 hrs. On arrival at 1230 hrs, transfer to the hotel. Relax in the hotel in the afternoon. In the evening, go for a cruise on the Zambezi River and see the animals which come close to the water. Drinks and heavy snacks on the cruise.
