Check in at Sahar International airport by 0230 hrs for the Royal Jordanian flight departing at 0530 hrs. Refreshments on the flight. On arrival at 0830 hrs and after completion of Immigration/Customs formalities, transfer to Dead Sea by a private coach. Stop for a short lunch break en route. On arrival at Dead Sea in approx 3 hours, check in to the hotel. Rest of the afternoon to relax in the hotel or go swimming in the tranquil Dead Sea or go for mud-bath treatments in the hotel spa. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit the ancient site where Jesus Christ was supposedly baptized by St John. Later, leave for the mosaic city of Madaba and see the ancient map in mosaic in the St George church covering old Israel & Palestine area. Later, visit Um Er Saas, the mosaic city which was recently excavated. Later, visit Mount Nebo, which is supposed to be the burial place of Moses. On a clear day, you might be able to see places like Jerusalem, Jericho, Mt Olives etc from here. Later, leave for Petra with a photo stop at the Kerak Castle. On arrival at Petra, check-in the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay Optional: Petra night show which held for approx 1.5 hours in the area near the Treasury, subject to weather condition, and costs JD 17 per person
After early breakfast, walk down (or take a horse carriage) to the ancient site of Petra (including the Treasury area) and spend next 3 hours marvelling at the architectural splendour of Petra. Later, return to the hotel area for lunch break and free time for shopping. Around 1600 hrs, leave for Wadi Rum, the desert made famous by the Lawrence of Arabia. On arrival go for a jeep drive in the desert and also watch the glorious sun set there. Later, transfer to a Desert Camp for Bedouin dinner and folk music & dance. Overnight stay in the camp (with private toilets).
Go for an early morning walk in the desert. Later, return to the camp to get ready and breakfast. Around 0900 hrs, leave for the coastal town of Aqaba, known for its pristine beaches, corals and duty-free shopping. Arrive in Aqaba by 1030 hrs and spend time till 1330 hrs there on your own, including lunch. Later, leave for Amman and arrive in approx 3 hours with a stop en route. On arrival, check-in to a hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Leave for a city tour of Amman covering its major attractions. After lunch break, visit Jerash, supposedly the best-preserved ancient Roman city in Asia. Return to Amman via the Ajlun Castle, built by crusaders. On arrival, transfer to the airport to check in for the flight to Tel Aviv departing at 2040 hrs. Refreshments on the flight. On arrival at Tel Aviv around 2125 hrs, meeting & greet by a local representative and transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv for overnight stay.
Breakfast. Later, leave Tel Aviv to Cana to visit the Church where Jesus transformed water into wine. On to Nazareth to visit the Basilica of Annunciation – Mary's Well and the Synagogue. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to see St. Peter's Memorial, St. Peter's House and the Synagogue. Later, continue to travel On to Mt.Beatitudes, where Jesus gave his most famous Sermon on the Mount. Continue to Tabgha , the site of multiplication of fish and loaves(Note: if time permits we will visit Nof Ginosar Kibbutz for a farm visit. Dinner & overnight at your hotel in Tiberias.
Breakfast. In the morning, leave Tiberias for Ein Karem to visit the Church of Visitation and Church of St. John the Baptist. Continue drive in the early afternoon to Mt. Zion to include : St.Peter in Gallicantu-the Cenacle – Dormition Abbey. Drive onto Bethlehem to visit the Basilica of Nativity , Chapel of St.Jerome , Milk Grotto, and the Shepherds Field. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Jerusalem.
Breakfast. Start the day with a walking tour of the old city of Jerusalem. Visit the Temple Area and see the Western Wall , the Dome of the Rock , Al-Aqsa Mosque, St. Anne Church and the pool of Bethesda. Later, trace the final footsteps of Jesus as you walk the via Dolorosa. See the Church of Flagellation, Ecce Homo , The Holy Sepulchre. In the afternoon, drive to Mount of Olives to visit : Ascension , Pater Noster -Dominus Flevit – Gethsemane. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Breakfast. Drive to Bethany, the village of Mary Martha and Lazarus, and visit Lazarus’ Tomb. Continue to Jericho, to visit the ancient city, Elisha's spring, the Sycamore Tree, New City and climb Mt. Temptation by a cable car. Further, drive to Qumran and visit the excavations of the Essean Monastery and the Cave of the Scrolls. Continue drive to Masada and the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem by evening. After dinner, see the Sound & light Show at David Tower. Overnight at the hotel
